Marilyn Ann Welch, age 65, born in Mobile, AL and a resident of Perdido, AL died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at her residence. She was a retired manager at Dollar General Store.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Brother Joe Welch of Perdido, AL; one son, Scott Welch of Perdido, AL; three daughters, Rhonda (Craig) Dickinson of Silverhill, AL, Theresa (George) Stewart of Perdido, AL and Lisa (Dennis) Tyree of Perdido, AL; her mother, Linnie Johnson of Atmore, AL; her mother-in-law, Evie T. Welch of Perdido; three brothers, Melvin Carpenter of Phillipsville, Steve Carpenter of Atmore, AL and Raymond Carpenter of Bratt, FL; eighteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joe E. Welch, Jr.; a grandson, Erik Ferrell and a brother, Jerry Carpenter.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Full Power Holiness Church with Brother Christopher "Bubba" Parnell officiating. Burial will follow at Bryars – McGill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 29, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Full Power Holiness Church.
