A memorial organ concert at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church will precede a memorial service at 2 p.m. for Robin Lee McAllister. Mr. McAllister died of cancer Monday in a Portland hospital. He was 46.
Born May 26, 1946, in Portland, Mr. McAllister was a graduate of Rose City Park Elementary School, Grant High School and Linfield College. He received a master's degree from the University of Washington.
Mr. McAllister had been a certified public accountant for Maginnis & Carey in Portland for the past 13 years. He had served in the U.S. Navy and sang in the U.S. Navy Choir. He also sang in the Linfield College A cappella Choir, the Oregon Repertory Singers and the First Baptist Church choir.
In addition to his parents, Robert W. and Rosalie McAllister, he is survived by his sister, Lonnielee McAllister, of Oakland, Calif.,
Private interment will be in River View Cemetery.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the American Cancer Society, Oregon Division, or to the First Baptist Church Foundation.
