Irvin Custer Sr., 80, Craddock Road, Cresaptown, died March 2, 1981 at his residence.
He was born in Rockwood, and was a son of the late James I. Custer and Tillie (Wyant) Custer. His wife, Anna E. (Null) Custer, preceded him in
death. A retired maintenance employee from the New Jersey School System, he was a member of Cresaptown Assembly of God Church and Allegany County Senior Citizens.
He is survived by a son, Irvin (Jack) Custer Jr., Burlington, N.J.; a sister, Mrs. Jennie C. Slotter, Somerset; two brothers, William Custer,
Salisbury; Harry Custer, Kent, Ohio; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends were received at Hafer Chapel of the Hills.Services were at the funeral home with the Rev. William M. Hoardofficiating. Interment will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
