Albert Wolden Obituary
Albert T. Wolden, 87, died at 10:15 a.m. of a heart attack he suffered while attending services at Immanuel Lutheran Church south of Gruver.

Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church south of Gruver, with burial in Wallingford Lutheran Cemetery. The Rev. Laurits Monk will officiate.

Friends may call at the Reese-Henry Funeral Home in Estherville after 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Mr. Wolden was born Dec. 25, 1883, near High Lake in Emmet County, the son of Peter and Bertha Wolden. He was educated in the rural Emmet county schools.

Mr. Wolden was married to the former Ida M. Gilbertson, who died in 1920. On March 6, 1929, he married the former Adelia Mickelson at Lakefield, Minn. He had lived in Emmet County all his life and farmed in the Swan Lake area until his retirement in 1942, when he moved to Wallingford.

A member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Mr. Wolden served on the first board of the Ingham Lake bible Camp and was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church choir. He also served 40 years as custodian of the church.

Survivors include his wife, Adelia; one daughter Mrs. Robert Olson, Hampton; three grandchildren; one brother, J.M. Wolden of St. James, Minn.; and one sister, Mrs. Ella Storvick of Albert Lee, Minn. He was preceded by his parents, his first wife, three brothers and three sister.
