Edith Eva Anderson, 82, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2013, in Brenham. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, February 4, 2013, at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., February 5, 2013, at Houston National Cemetery, with interment to follow.
Edith was born in Houston, Texas, to the late Dorothy and Leonard Moffett. On December 11, 1948, she married Edison Dale Anderson.
Preceding her in death in 2012, was her husband of 63 years; brother, Ellis Moffett; and step-father, Donald Salter.
Edith is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Demel and husband, Dennis; son, Ronald Dale Anderson; grandchildren, Katherine Demel, Krista Moran and husband, Gregg, Monica Cable and husband, Greg, Lauren Spriggs and husband, Jason, and Ryan Anderson; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Edward Moffett; step-brother, Charles Salter and wife, Joanie; step-sister, Sundra Murphy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
