ODESSA -- Services for Rufus Boyd Andress, 79, of Odessa are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Hiser officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Mr. Andress died Thursday, Sept. 26, 1995, at Medical Center Hospital.
He was born Aug. 21, 1916, in Bellevue. He married Exa Faye Thorp Dec. 25, 1942, in Dallas.
Mr. Andress came to Odessa in 1946 from Dallas. He was a retired repairman for Huffman Heat Exchangers.
He is survived by his wife, Exa Faye Andress of Odessa; daughter, Linda Sue Patterson of Richmond, Va.; sister, Willie Mae Rowe of Washington, Ark.; and grandchildren, Keri and Lori Patterson.
Mr. Andress was preceded in death by a son, James Ray Andress.
