Green Y. Beaty, 72, 1705 E. Harvard, died in Fentress County Hospital, Jamestown, Tenn., Saturday evening following a heart attack. He had left Muncie Friday to visit his sister, Mrs. James Hinds in Jamestown.
Mr. Beaty was employed at Ball Brothers Co. for 16 years before retiring some time ago. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Little Crab, Tenn., and Local 93, UAW-CIO.
Surviving are his wife, Ida;
Services will be at the Meeks Mortuary at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Paul Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory. Friends may call at the Meeks Mortuary Monday afternoon and evening and prior to services Tuesday.
