Jorell first appear in the 1870 census, living outside of Media, Pa with his first wife Josephine Tash Kelley and sons Jorell II; John Tash Kelley and George Kelley. Josephine and Jorell II are burried in Mt Moriah Cemetery in Philadelphia.

His second wife was Sarah Elizabeth Green Kelley who moved to California with their son Francis Rowland Kelley.

Jorell was employed in the maintenance department of the Elwyn School for 25+ years. He was a deacon at the Middletown Presbyterian Church and is burried in their cemetery alongside of his grandson, Francis R Kelley.

Nothing is known about either Jorell or Josephine prior to the 1870 census. The spelling of his middle name was based on oral tradition and may be incorrect. Please send me a note if you have any information as to the correct spelling or his parents or Josephine's parents. Tnx.
