Funeral Mass for Nelda Ann Andrus Simmons, 67, will be held Friday, November 14, 2008 at 11 a.m. in St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church. Father Cedric Sonnier will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Moore Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday at 8 a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Simmons was a resident of Eunice. She died Tuesday, November 11, 2008.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Robert Simmons of Eunice; one son, Douglas Simmons of Eunice; four daughters, Donna Thibodeaux & husband Danny, of Eunice, Liz Bryan & husband Rick of Eunice, Diana Richard & husband Neal of Lafayette, Dana Olivier & husband Faron of Eunice; one sister, Barbara Juneau & husband Day of Lafayette; 9 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, Hilton & Ethel Andrus; brother, Hilton Robert Andrus, Jr.
