Ivy Chapel, 2800 Paramount Blvd., with Dr. G.A. Roach officiating. Masonic Rites
are by Palo Duro Masonic Lodge No. 1239.
Mr. Saunders was born Dec. 5, 1950, in Amarillo to Byron and Gloria Saunders. He
graduated from Amarillo High School in 1969 and attended Amarillo College. He
was a member of the Palo Duro Masonic Lodge No. 1239, and he was a retired
mechanic.
Survivors include two daughters, Amy Saunders and Lori Saunders, both of
Amarillo; two brothers, Paul Saunders of The Woodlands and Mark Saunders of
Houston; and four grandchildren, Davin Smith, Trent Smith, Nicolle Springer and
Ian Springer.
The family suggests memorials be to Shriners Hospital for Children, in care of
Khiva Shrine, P.O. Box 328, Amarillo, TX 79105.
