PARSONS - Brent W. Cook, 24, Parsons, died Wednesday, June 26, 2002, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born Jan. 4, 1978, in Fort Scott, the son of Ricky Cook and Roberta Eisenbrandt Cook. He lived most of his life in southeast Kansas.

He was a truck driver and just recently came off of the road to be with his son. He was currently employed with Loraine Cleaver Oil Company.

He enjoyed rodeos and bull riding.

Survivors include a son, Brent W. Cook, Jr., of the home; his mother, Roberta Cook, of the home; his father, Ricky Cook, Chanute; two sisters, Tabitha Cook and Jessica Cook; both of the home; and grandparents, Chet and Betty Cook, Savonburg.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Betty Eisenbrandt.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, Parsons, led by the Rev. Robert Pruitt. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the Labette Community College Foundation Scholarship Fund and may be left with the funeral home.
