HENDERSON -- Stella Hancock, 79, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000, at her home. She was a hospice patient.
She was a member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church in Evansville.
Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Raymond L.; four sisters, Sally Jesse of Bristol, Va., Gladys Hall of Wise, Va., Pearl Horn of Coeburn, Va., and Geneva Hicks of Abingdon, Va.; two brothers, Clarence Buford and Claude Laney, both of Wise; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice.
