Corporal, F Company, 179th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Division. Enlisted 16 August 1943 and died 1 December 1944. Near Bouxwiller or Muhlhausen, Bas-Rhin Department, Alsace Region, France.

I thank him for giving the most precious gift he could have given for his country...We will remember your outstanding courage and committment to freedom . And I will be thankful for fine Americans like you who have given so much for your country and those who came home that we have the freedoms that we enjoy today...
