Mrs. Walker, 68, of Brookhaven, went to be with her
Lord and Savior after a lengthy illness, on
February 3, 2014 at MS Baptist Medical Center.
She was born on July 23, 1945 to Martin and Martha Walker.
She was a Godly woman who loved her family very much
and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
She is also preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Alton "Bookie" Walker;
son, Matt Walker and wife Daphne of Cartersville, GA; daughter,
Debbie Peebles and husband Lee of Brookhaven
and one brother, Robert Lee Walker of Dutchtown, LA.
She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Chan, Cody and
Chris Newell, Colton Walker, Whitney Walker Jones and
2 step-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Niles Peebles;
also surviving are 3 great-grandchildren, McKenzie
and Tristan Newell and Karlie Grace Jones.
