Ervin Thomas Morrall, 73, of 915 Kentucky, a retired sheetmetal worker, died in Blessing Hospital, Tuesday afternoon at 4:45. He had been a patient in the hospital since December 10.

Mr. Morrall was born in Memphis, Missouri, July 26, 1882, a son of John and Rebecca Sayers Morrall, and had lived in Quincy for 30 years. He was a member of the Christian Church and was married January 7, 1903 in Memphis, Missouri to Ollie M. Harwood.

Surviving are the widow; four daughters, Mrs. Iva Mae Pitzer of Sacremento, California and Mrs. Pauline Dearwester, Mrs. Opal Stapleton and Mrs. Grace Anderson, all of Quincy; fours sons, John Morrall of Quincy, Virgil Morrall of Emerson, Missouri, Paul Morrall of Philadelphia, Missouri; and Hillis Morrall of Waco, Texas; a brother, Dr. Samuel Morrall of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A brother and sister preceded him in death.
