Effingham -- Brian H. Jansen, 21, of Effingham died at 11:06 PM Monday, April 30, 2001, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Friday at Saint Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Green Creek, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Thursday at Bauer Funeral Home, Effingham, with a 7 PM rosary. Memorials may be made to the donors choice.
Mr. Jansen was born January 14, 1980, in Effingham, the son of Bernard and Helen Niebrugge Jansen.
He was a truck and industrial technician employed at Effingham Truck Sales Inc., Effingham, and was a member of the Saint Mary's Help of Christians Catholic Church, Green Creek.
Surviving are his parents of Effingham; brothers, Tom, (wife, Cindy), Don (wife, Judy), Dave (wife, Angie), and Ray all of Effingham, Tim (wife, Angie) of Teutopolis, Ben at home; sisters, Dianne (husband,Jerry) Westendorf, Pat Deters, and Mary (husband, Terry) Mette, all of Effingham, Rose Ann (husband, Larry) Westendorf, of Dieterich, Barb (husband, Dean) Probst of Stewardson, Angie (husband, Kurt) Overbeck, and Loretta (husband Bob) Schumacher both of Teutopolis. He was preceded in death by one infant sister, Marcia, in 1979, and grandparents, Ben and Eva Jansen and Clem and Frances Niebrugge.
