William Thomas "Bill" Snodgrass, 67, of Eskdale, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012, at his home.

He was born in Charleston on November 20, 1944, and was a son of the late William and Juanita Brace Snodgrass.

He was retired from the Marmet Locks as a shift leader and was a member of UMWA and American Federation of Government Employees and a Air Force veteran . Bill loved camping and his four legged buddies and his bird, Booboo.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Willie "Fats" Snodgrass.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sybil Snodgrass; sons, Fred Stover of Powellton and Tim Stover of Cabin Creek; daughters, Robin Howell of Red Warrior and Connie Lea New of Joes Creek; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, Glasgow, with the Rev. Benny Ross officiating. The burial will follow the service in the memorial gardens.

Family and friends will gather for the visitation one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Bill's memory to David Lee Cancer Center, 3200 MacCorkle Avenue, Charleston, West Virginia 25304.
