Mark Kelly Maxwell, 40, 21G Countryside Estates, died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2001, at his home. He was born July 9, 1961 in Hays, to Lee and Violet (Helwig) Maxwell.

He married Dora Jacobs in Hays; they were divorced.

He was a graduate of Hays High School. He was an insurance adjuster for Maxwell Adjusting and Appraising Service in Hays for 15 years; was parts manager at Hays Auto Parts for nine years; and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hays.

Survivors include a daughter, Kelly Maxwell, Manhattan; his parents, Hays; and two sisters, Cheryl Glassman and Jan Naegele, both of Hays.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays, with Fathers Frank X. Grinko and Earl Befort officiating; burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Monday at Brock's North Hill Chapel, 2509 Vine. A parish vigil service will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to an educational fund for his daughter.
