Robert W Edmonston formally of this city, died at his home at Middle Grove (MO), Wednesday, January 11, 1899. For many years he was in the livery and stock business in this City (Mexico). About 2 years ago he moved to Middle Grove, where he had been in the Insurance Business.
Mr Edmonston was born February 1852 in Callaway County, Missouri. He leaves 3 brothers,1 sister...W.A. Edmonston of Mexico, C.W. Edmonston of Higbee, J.O. Edmonston of Keytesville and Mrs Nannie W Edmonston Northern of Texas. The remains were brought to this City on the Walbash Railroad today and taken to the City Cemetery (Elmwood) for burial. Rev. W.A. Hanna conducted the service at the grave.
