Mrs. T.C. Bridgeman, 54, died suddenly Saturday, October 10, about 1:00 p.m. at her home at 716 McCausland.

Born on August 10, 1910, in the Antioch community. Mrs. Bridgeman moved into Homer in 1938, and has lived here since, and was a saleslady here for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Monday, October 12, at 10 a.m. with the pastor of the First Baptist Church, the Reverend George M. Hall, officiating. Interment was in the Arlington Cemetery under the direction of the Davidson Funeral Home.

Survivors are her husband, T.C. Bridgeman of Homer; one son, Captain Bobby G. Smith, of Tucson, Ariz., three brothers, Jesse English of Gibsland, Kasper English of Lisbon, and Drew English of West Monroe; one sister, Mrs. Lilla Pearl Ray of Ruston, two grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers were Ed Wilkins, Bob Brown, Marion White, Sherwood Campbell, Wesley Torbet, James Melton, J.R. Oakes and George Emerson.
