Arvelle married one time when he was in his twenties, but it did not work out and he never remarried or had children of his own. But Arvelle was a very loving man and he loved all the children in the family. He was my mother's brother and was always there to help when he was needed.
He worked as a carpenter and a painter for most of his life.
When he died, his body was donated to science. When he was returned to his executors, he was buried in a private garden instead of a public cemetery. As far as I am aware, the family has no access to his place of burial.
