Bonnie Roe Cummings, 85, of Kansas City Mo., passed away Friday, January 25, 2013. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, at the Newcomer's Floral Hills Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. following visitation. Burial will be held at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Bonnie was one of 13 children to his parents, Vincle and Grace Cummings. He was born and raised in Harrison County, Mo. He was married to Nina Ruth Thompson of Cainsville, Mo., and had one son, Ricky Lane Cummings. They resided in Raytown, Mo., most of their married life. He served in the Army of World War II. He made his home the last years of his life with Carlos and Linda Padilla and their two sons Enrique and Carlos happily as part of their family where he will be sorely missed. Bonnie was preceded in death by his wife Nina, his parents, five sisters and one brother. He is survived by his son, Ricky of Colusa, Calif., Maxine Hendren of Liberty, Mo., Edith June Wiley of Independence, Mo., John Cummings and wife of Grain Valley, Mo., R.T. Cummings and wife of Raytown, Mo., Larry Cummings and wife of Kansas City, Joann Hillyard of New Hampton, Mo., Dean Thompson and wife of Bethany, Mo.
