Marlene G. Gibson, nee Voss, age 71 , of Dyer, IN formerly of South Holland, IL passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2009. Marlene is survived by one daughter: Deb(Chuck) Paarlberg, and two sons: Jim(Pam) Gibson and Dan(Pam) Gibson; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one sister: Georgian(Elmer) Van Drunen and two brothers: Paul(Peg) Voss and Eugene Voss. Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death by her husband: George "Bud" Gibson in 2005. Visitation, Sunday, July 19, 2009 from 3:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home 649 E. 162nd St. (Rt.6/159th St.) South Holland, IL 60473. Funeral Service, Monday, July 20, 2009 - 11:00 A.M. at First Reformed Church (15924 South Park Ave. South Holland, IL ) with services conducted by Rev. Matt Waterstone and Rev. Mel DeVries. Interment Homewood Memorial Gardens, Homewood, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to Elim Christian Services or Youth Ministries at Faith Church.
