Billie Lynn Davidson, 90, of Wichita Falls died on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the House of Hope. Services will be held a Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 29, at 2:00 PM with The Very Reverend John Payne officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.

Ms. Davidson was born April 26, 1922 in Vernon, Texas – moving to Wichita Falls at two months old. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1939. She spent the next few years attending the University of Oklahoma and working in the Oklahoma City area as a commercial writer for Kerr's Department Store. She worked for KLPR Independent Radio Station from 1943-1949.

In 1950, Billie moved back to Wichita Falls to join the staff of KTRN Radio and eventually to the newly established NBC station KFDX TV Channel 3. She retired in 1990 after 37 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Anna Belle (Epperson) Davidson and her brothers, W.C. Davidson and J.P. Davidson, sister-in-law Anne Davidson and nephew Jay Davidson.

For over four generations, Billie was a passionate and loyal friend to the families of Mrs. Eddie Aboussie and Carol Anne and Bill Riddle.
