Peter H. Gilstrap Dies
Peter H. Gilstrap, a life-long resident of Bevier, passed away at his home in Bevier Thursday evening, June 6, 1935. Mr. Gilstrap was born February 13, 1861, and at the time of his death was 74 years, 3 months and 23 days old.
Mr. Gilstrap had been ill with pneumonia for about 10 days.
Survivors are Mrs. Tom Moss of Macon; Mrs. Ben Catterton of Excello; Mrs. Rebecca Bell of Bevier, sisters, and Hopkins Gilstrap of Kirksville, a brother, and several other relatives besides a host of friends.
Funeral services will occur from the Edwards Funeral Home Saturday afternoon, June 8, at 2 00 o'clock by the Rev. Thomas F. Cross with interment in East Oakwood cemetery.
