He was born in Jewell Ridge, Virginia and was the son of the late John R. and Georgia Whitt Taylor. He was a driver for Cardinal Metals. Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He was a lifelong resident of the Jewell Ridge, Virginia area. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Reaver and Glenna Tolliver; and two brothers, John Taylor and Paul Taylor.
