Joel Samuel Taylor, age 66, of Jewell Ridge, Virginia, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Valley Health Care in Chilhowie, Virginia.
He was born in Jewell Ridge, Virginia and was the son of the late John R. and Georgia Whitt Taylor. He was a driver for Cardinal Metals. Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Vietnam. He was a lifelong resident of the Jewell Ridge, Virginia area. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Reaver and Glenna Tolliver; and two brothers, John Taylor and Paul Taylor.
His survivors are:
