Mrs. Tryon was born Feb. 23, 1907, at Kellogg, the daughter of Newton and Agnes Irish. She grew up and attended school in Minnesota and in Canada. She married Guy Tryon in 1928. They lived in the Bemidji area and she worked at Munsingwear for several years. He died in 1955. She worked as a housekeeper in Minneapolis from 1968 until retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Nary Ladies Aid.
She is survived by three sons, Ronald (Mary Jane) and Donald (Gayle), both of Bemidji, and John (Nancy) of Rapid City, S.D.; a daughter, LaVonne (George) Clay of Bemidji; a stepson, Cecil (Esther) Tryon of Shelton, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, and a brother.
