Charles R. Armbrust Sr., 87, of Noblesville (IN) passed away August 8, 2010. He was born in Greensburg, PA on May 4, 1923 to the late George R. and Margaret Bair Armbrust. He married Marjorie Weltz on April 27, 1949 and she preceded him in death June 22, 2010. Charles was an accomplished violist having played with well known big bands and the Carmel Symphony. He was also a gifted artist. Charles was a member of the Carmel VFW Post 10003, American Legion Post 155, Retired Association of Martin Marietta RAMM and was a veteran of the US Air Force. For a number of years he was employed as an Illustrator for Farm Fans in Beech Grove. Survivors include his children; Diane L. Mosley, George R. Armbrust and Charles R. Armbrust Jr.; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday August 11 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in Christ Lutheran Church of which he was a member 10055 E. 1 86th Street, Noblesville. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. until service time with Pastor Adrian Piazza officiating. Please visit www.bussellfamilyfunerals.com where you may sign the guestbook or share a memory.
