ANTLERS, Oklahoma - Funeral service for John Conley, 79 year old retired Pushmataha County, Farmer - Stockman, is being arranged by Coffey Funeral Home in Antlers. Mr. Conley died Monday afternoon in Memorial Hospital, in Hugo. His home was at Snow, in Pushmataha County, where he had lived all his life. He was born December 2, 1880 and was a Mason.
He was a widower. Survivors are two sons, Henry Conley of Snow, and Andrew Conley of Los Alamos, NM; two daughters, Mrs. Johnnie Benson of Sacramento, Calif., and Mrs. Rebecca Harrison of Ukiah, Calif.; one brother Gus Conley of Battiest, and two sisters living in the West.

John Wesley is the son of Samuel Henry and Leona Elmira Scroggins Conley. He was raised in Arkansas with 4 sisters and 5 brothers to my current knowledge. They are:

On 26 Jan 1907, he married Mary Louvinia "Lieu" Billingley. By 1910, they were living in Pushmataha County. They raised 3 boys and 3 girls. They are:

Thomas Jefferson "Buster" Conley 1913 – 1930
Johnie Gertrude Conley 1915 – 2002
Arine Rebecca "Becky" Conley 1918 – 2009
Emalue Conley 1922 – 1922

Lieu preceded John in death by about 6 months. They are buried here next to each other. John Wesley is my 1st cousin 2X rem.
