Leona V. Facer Leona V. (Sanderson) Facer, age 82, of Harrison, passed away on October 21, 1995, at Autumn wood Nursing Home of McBain. She was born on October 8, 1913, in Roscommon County, the daughter of George and Veva (Stites) Bums. She resided in the Harrison area for most of her life; spending many years as a waitress, and cook for local restaurants. Surviving are seven sons, Leo and Bessie Bums of Grand Ledge, Marion Jr. and Wanda Sanderson of Florida, John Sanderson of Muir, Don and Carol Sanderson of Westland, Wesley and Patricia Sanderson Of Colorado Springs, CO, Edwin Sanderson of Alpena, and Harry and Lavina Sanderson of Harrison; three daughters, Nora and Bill Tracey of Marion, Kay Hoadley of Grand Ledge, and Judy and Ed Martin, .also of Grand Ledge; numerous grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Dorothy Bond. Funeral services were held on Oct 24 with Pastor Jerry Britton officiating.
