Patricia Earle Messer, 69, of Phil Campbell, Ala., died Monday, June 4, 2007, at her residence.
Mrs. Messer was a native of Winston County and member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Phil Campbell.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at Mountain View Baptist Church, Phil Campbell, with Brother Sammy Taylor and Brother Jason Vinson officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Family will receive friends after 5 p.m. today at Mountain View Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Messer, Phil Campbell, Ala.; children, Martha Crabtree, Scottsboro, Ala., Margaret Hagard, Athens, Ala., Wallace Messer, West Limestone, Ala., Mary Belvin, Hollytree, Ala.; sister, June Glass, Phil Campbell, Ala.; and 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will include Daniel Crabtree, Jeremy Crabtree, Jonathan Hagard, Christpher Hagard, Tray Maynor, Blake Maynor, Isaiah Messer and Jamie Glass.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Oraley Vernon; daughter, Sharie Kay Messer; and sister, Hazel West.
Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
