Mrs. Jones, widow of Leonard Murle Jones, died Saturday, August 25, 2012. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Gordon, Sr. and Katie V. Reeder Moore. She was retired from Shakespeare and a member of Blaney Baptist Church.
Surviving are 4 children, Andy Jones (Debbie Shupe) of Columbia, Cathy Maldaner (Gary) of Tryon, NC, Pamela Jones of Boiling Springs and Leonard Murle Jones, Jr. of Lugoff; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters: Sybil M. Albert of Elgin and Elaine Moore of Boiling Springs; brother, Harvey Gordon Moore, Jr. of Columbia. The family wishes to thank her long-time companion, George Hill.
