Betty L. Harris, 73, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2013 at home. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Paul T. and Achsa Fosgate Snavely; her husband, Earl D. Harris, Sr.; brothers, Ernest, and James Snavely; sisters, Marie Beeman, Grace Mudge, and Janet Golley. Betty is survived by her children, Ralph Harris of NE, Brenda Harris of Johnson City, Earl Harris Jr., of Owego, and Diana (William) Carlin of Endicott; brothers, Francis (Barb) Snavely, Kenneth (Shirley) Snavely, Robert Snavely, and Richard Snavely; sister, Elaine Ellis; grandchildren, Shelbi, Cassandra, and Dariyan Harris, and Timothy Carlin; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Betty loved collecting Disney Memorabilia, collecting stamps and scrapbooking. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 6:00 PM at Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego with Rev. Dennis King officiating. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. Family invites friends to call from 4 to 5:45 prior to the services.
