Patricia Virginia Phillips

CUMBERLAND- Patricia Virginia Phillips, 75, of Cumberland passed away on Friday January 25, 2013 at home. Born March 19, 1937 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Edward Bowman and Alcetha (Riggleman) Bowman.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Raymond Phillips; several brothers and sisters. Patricia was employed for ten years at the Brandenburg Center in Cumberland as a nursing assistant. She was Pentecostal by faith. Mrs. Phillips loved to play bingo and spend time with her family. Surviving are her five children Linda Sonnenleiter and husband Jon of Smyrna Tn, Steve Phillips and wife Peggy, Michael Phillips and wife Mary, Sondra Porter and husband Gary, Tracy Phillips all of Cumberland; grandchildren Jason Sonnerleiter and wife Brittany, Jon Sonnenleiter II and wife Natasha, Marc Phillips, Steven Phillips Jr., Amanda Lichtl and husband Ken, Cassandra Porter, Michelle Porter, Jessie Porter, Christine Phillips, Jenny Hood and husband Robbin; great-grandchildren Skylar Twigg, Darius Jackson, Jalynn Jackson, Kaydence Frame, Briden Frame, Jason Sonnenleiter Jr., Zoey Sonnenleiter, Zaccheus Jessie, Kenny Lichtl, and Kallee Licht; special friend Debra Phillips; brother Gary Bowman of Ohio, niece Sylvia Logue; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home P.A. (www.scarpellifh.com) on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend James Glass officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
