Gerald F. "Gee" Raymond, 89, died Jan. 23, 2013, at Hospice House. He was born Feb. 6, 1923, in Haven, to Gabriel F. and Minnie (Stade) Raymond.

Gerald was an insurance agent, real-estate broker, and retired as a correctional officer for KSIR. He was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and American Legion. He was a staunch Democrat and never missed an election. He was an avid lover of chocolate and dominos.

On Feb. 20, 1950, he married Angelita "Angie" Dreiling in Hutchinson. She preceded him in death on March 14, 2002.

Gerald is survived by: one daughter, Michel Raymond of Haven, and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Norman and Robert Raymond; sisters, Lucille Schlickau and Velma Kincaid.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at St. Teresa's Catholic Church, with Father Nicholas Voelker officiating. Burial will be in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson. Rosary will be 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson.
