October 27, 1946 ~ August 25, 2009 (age 62)

Tim J. Wolfe, 62, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2009, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic.

Timothy Joseph Wolfe was born on October 27, 1946, in Atlantic, Iowa, the son of Lloyd Logan and Elsie Irene (Andersen) Wolfe.

He attended school in Exira, Iowa, and graduated from the Exira High School in 1966. While in school he worked for a local gentlemen delivering milk.

In 1966, he met Jean Sweeney while cruising around the town of Massena, they later married on October 27, 1967, in Rockport, Missouri. This October the couple would have celebrated 42 years of marriage. Jean will always remember the flowers he would give her frequently for no reason at all.

Tim worked for Henningsen Construction until 1969, when he went to work for various gas stations. He was employed by NAPA in Atlantic for 20 years. He and Jean drove truck for 4 years and owned and operated the Snack Shack in Massena for one year. He most recently was employed by Oakland Foods, working there for 11 years.

He was a hard worker, but this never took away from spending time with his family. Tim's family was #1, and time was always taken for family vacations and BBQ's. He loved sports, especially baseball, and at one time coached his boys and a women's team that Jean was a member of. Tim's favorite baseball teams to root for were the New York Yankees and the Chicago Cubs and football he was cheering on the Colts. He also could be found watching a few rounds of WWF Wrestling from time to time.

Tim is survived by his wife, Jean of Atlantic, Iowa; his sons, Mike and Scot (Tiffany) Wolfe, all of Cumberland, Iowa; his daughter, Bonnie (Troy) Oeltjenbruns of Kenosha, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Lisa, Dillon and Anthony Oeltjenbruns of Kenosha, Wisconsin; his brother, Jim (Dorothy) Wolfe of Atlantic, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents; his parents; his son, Danny Joe; his brothers, Dick, Denny and Donnie Wolfe; and uncles.
