Geneva Decker, age 95, of Leitchfield, KY, passed away Thursday, (January 24, 2013) at the Grayson Manor Nursing Home in Leitchfield, KY.
She was born on May 20, 1917 in Grayson County, KY, the daughter of the late Sterling and Sylvia Meredith Logsdon.
She was a housewife, who enjoyed quilting and raising flowers.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Beulah Decker and her husband James of Louisville, KY, Irene Decker and Lorene King both of Leitchfield, KY, 2 sons, Denvard Decker and his wife Mary of Leitchfield, KY and Larry Decker, also of Leitchfield, KY, 2 brothers, James Logsdon and his wife Patty, and David Logsdon and his wife Martha, all of Leitchfield, KY, 5 sisters, Wilma VanMeter, Nora Mae Mercer, Mildred Newton, Maggie Decker and her husband Floyd and Imogene Sandlin, all of Leitchfield, KY.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bro. Ernest Decker, her sister Betty Saltsman and her brother Harlan Logsdon.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, (January 27, 2013) at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Dermitt Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time of services.
