Nancy was born on September 8, 1942 in Clay County, IL to John M. and Carolyn (Mayo) Martin. She married Carol Dean Lagle on August 22, 1959 in Flora.
She worked at Bel-Tronics for 13 years and later at Q-Circuits and had been a member of First Church of God in Flora. Nancy loved embroidery, crafts, and reading, and thoroughly enjoyed being Grandma, also known as "Nanner".
She is survived by her husband: Carol Lagle; mother: Carolyn Martin; children: Kim Pennington, Mark Lagle, Chris Lagle; Eric Lagle, Kelly Lagle; Seven grandchildren: Brian Pennington, Tiffany Castleberry, Jessica Simpson, Elizabeth Lagle, James Sorenson, Kale Lagle, Ashley Landreth; seven great-grandchildren: Paige, Carter, Lexi, Laila, Faith, Caden, Allison; siblings: Gary Martin, Larry Martin, Suzanne Acree, Teresa Martin.
She was preceded in death by her father (John Martin) and a sister (Vicki Burkett).
The funeral service was at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home, Flora, with Pastor Richard Artis officiating.
Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora.
The family has requested that memorial donations be made to Clay County Cancer Crusaders or Clay County Hospice.
