Born April 26, 1930 in Coshocton she was a daughter of the late George and Myrtle (Frazie) Franklin.
She was employed as a cook at the former Swiss Hat Restaurant in Sugarcreek, Millers's Dutch Kitchen in Baltic and Beachy's Country Chalet in Sugarcreek.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church at New Springfield and the LOGO's group at the church.
Etta enjoyed baking cookies for her grandchildren, gardening and collecting angels.
Her first husband Ralph Sundheimer, Sr. preceded her in death on March 3, 1980.
She is survived by her second husband Junior Adams whom she married June 26, 1982. She is also survived by her combined family of 7 children, 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and first husband she was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Burial will follow in Coshocton Memory Gardens.
