OBITUARIES

Mary L. Gallagher
Mary L. Gallagher , member of a pioneer Marin County family, died early today at a Marin County hospital, where she has been confined since Dec., 17, following a fall at her home. She was 71.
Born in Novato, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James H. Rogers, and spent most of her younger life and school years in Nicasio.
After her marriage to Edward A. Gallagher, the couple moved to Point Reyes, where they operated a dairy ranch. They later returned to Nicasio, where they remained in dairy ranching for the 45 years.
She is survived by her husband and nine children, including Mrs. Marian Morris, Richard Gallagher and John Gallagher, all of Point Reyes; Miss Patricia Gallagher of San Francisco; Thomas Gallagher of Windsor; James Gallagher of Palo Alto; Raymond Gallagher of Fallon; and George Gallagher and Edward Gallagher Jr., both of Nicasio.
She is also survived by 10 brothers and sisters, including Mrs. Elizabeth Dolcini, Mrs. Loretta Bettinelli and Thomas Rogers, all of Petaluma; Mrs. Barbara Rogers, Napa; Veronica Lody, San Mateo; George Rogers and James Rogers, both of Nicasio; and Elinor Cheda, Clarence Rogers and Raymond Rogers, all of Point Reyes.
Twenty-one grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive.
There will be a recitation of the Rosary at 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, at the chapel of the Sorensen Funeral Home, 400 Washington St.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:45 a.m. at the Sorensen Funeral Home, followed by a Requiem mass at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at 10 a.m.
Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Reyes; Patricia Gallagher of San Francisco, Thomas Gallagher of Windsor, James Gallagher of Palo Alto, Raymond Gallagher of Fallon, George and Edward Gallagher, Jr. both of Nicasio, Sister of Elizabeth Dolcini of Petaluma, Loretta Bettinelli of Petaluma, Thomas Rogers of Petaluma, Barbara Rogers of Napa, Veronica Ludy of San Mateo, George and James Rogers of Nicasio, Elinore Cheda of Pt. Reyes, Clarence and Raymond Rogers of Pt. Reyes. Also survived by 21 grandchildren and great grandchildren. A native of Novato, aged 71 years.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral services Saturday, Jan. 20, 1968 at 9:45 a.m. from the Chapel of the Sorensen Funeral Home thence to St. Vincent's Church where a Requiem Mass will be offered for the repose of her soul commencing at 10:00 a.m. interment Calvary Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary Friday evening at 8:00 o'clock.
