Albert "Bill" William Affeldt, 73, of Rockford passed away in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born in Janesville, WI, the son of A.W. "Dick" and Helen (Young) Affeldt. Bill worked for GM in Janesville before coming to work for Chrysler Corporation. He retired in 1991 from Chrysler. Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church in Rockford. Predeceased by his parents, son William Brian Affeldt, brother Richard C. Affeldt and great-grandson Jefferson Robert Rish.
