Ruth E. Leech, age 82, of Harborcreek Township, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Ball Pavilion. She was born in Soldier, PA on March 9, 1930, the daughter of the late Archibald and Della Mae Harriger.

Ruth was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church, and was active in the choir for over 40 years. She enjoyed sewing, doll collecting, roller-skating and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Howard M. Leech; one sister, Florence Lamb; two brothers, Max and Bobby Harriger. She is survived by four children, Janet Bauer (John Armour), Deborah Wisniewski (John) and Ronald Leech (Carol), all of Harborcreek and Larry Leech (Lynda) of Lawrence Park; one sister, Emma Borden of Kissimmee, FL; one brother, Donald Harriger (Portia) of Reynoldsville, PA; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm. Further visitation will be held at Faith Lutheran Church on Wednesday from 11 am until the time of the Funeral Service there at 1 pm, conducted by Rev. David Laakso. Interment, Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
