HENDERSON, Ky. -- Polly C. Bryant, 78, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 1999, of an embolism at her home.

She was a member of Henderson General Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 27 years, Dewey; four daughters, Wanda Littlepage Gibson and Velma Gibson, both of Henderson, Linda Greenwell of Morganfield and Brenda Whitmore of Leitchfield; a foster daughter, Nancy Hall of Utica; a stepson, Floyd Evans of Stanley; a brother, Thomas Courtney of Evansville; 10 grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 11 stepgreat-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Henderson General Baptist Church, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home and from noon to service time at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church building fund.
