Andrea Dawn (Welcher) Henson, 28, wife of Jason S. Henson of 540 South Ridge Parkway, Culpeper and formerly of Staunton, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012 in Culpeper.
Mrs. Henson was born in Staunton on May 27, 1984 a daughter of Crystal Dawn Welcher.
Andrea was a graduate of R.E. Lee High School class of 2002 and National Business College. She was employed with Orange County Medical as a medical assistant. Andrea enjoyed time spent with her family and her hobbies included scrapbooking, reading, photography and traveling.
Surviving in addition to her husband of Culpepper and her birth mother Crystal Dawn Welcher of Staunton, are her parents who raised her, Harold E. and Anna S. Coiner; two brothers, Darwin Coiner and Michael Coiner; two sisters, Pamela S. Watson and Julie Muse, all of Staunton; maternal grandparents, C.A. and Shirley Smith of Raphine; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jerry W. and Gloria J. Henson of Clemson, SC; an aunt, Mary Ann Tankesley; her best friend, Lee Ann Warstler; numerous nieces and nephews; and her pet cat Jazzy and dogs Zoey and Mio.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2012 in the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Joseph C. Brandon.
Burial will follow in Stonewall United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Active pallbearers are Dave Warstler, John Caylor, Gary Durham, Don Smith, C.A. Smith, Russell Welcher, Clarance Hodge and Eddie Wymer.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to the Susan B. Komen Foundation, 5433 Westheimer Rd Suite 325 Houston, TX 77056
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive in Staunton is in charge of her arrangements.
