In May 15, 1937, he married Ruby R. Nametz in Elkhart Lake. He was an insurance agent for the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. The couple resided in Milwaukee until their retirement in 1965, when they moved to Florida. His wife, Ruby, preceded him in death in 1981.
Survivors include one son, Terrence Doolan, of San Francisco, Calif.; two daughters, Jane Bale, of Forest Park, III., and Margaret (Mark) Doolan Janssen, of rural Kiel; six grandchildren and five sisters. He was preceded in death by three brothers.
A funeral memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, with the Rev. Thomas Leannah officiating. Burial will be in Florida. There will be no visitation at Meiselwltz Funeral Home, Kiel, who are handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please donate a book to a library in his memory.
