Bill was born to Charles Newton Burns and Martha Elizabeth Rogers Burns. The family lived in Moro Arkansas and later
moved to the Cooter Mo. area, He married Rita L. Soukup on June 2nd, 1945 in Chicago. He is survived by his wife Rita, 2 daughters Barbara Harwood {Gary}of Port Hope, Mi. Patricia Buncik {Michael} of McHenery, Il. and a son William J.at home and 5 grandchildren and 4 great-granddaughters,a great-grandson, three brothers and one sister, he had 2 sisters killed in a car accident
one brother was killed during the war.
Bill donated his remains to the hospital medical school for
scientific study and organ donation after which his remains were cremated and scattered at the hospital burial area.
