MRS. MARIA MEYERS
Mrs. Maria L Whitesell Meyers, 90, widow of Frank J. Meyers, died at 5:45 yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bertha Schmidt, 38 South New street,  Nazareth, after an illnes of 13 weeks.
She was born in East Allen Township, Northampton county, ad daughter of the late Richard and Marianne Shively Whitesell, of Raubsville.
She was married on May 11, 1869, to Frank Meyers at the Lutheran parsonage at Cherryville by the late Rev. David Kuntz. For 48 years Mr. and Mrs. Meyers made their home at Petersville, but for the past 23 years, Mrs. Meyers resided in Nazareth and was a faithful member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Her husband died 11 years ago. Four children also preceded her in death. Survivors are two sons, Quillas, New York City and Frank, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Schmidt, with whom she made her home; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services at 2:30 p.m. Monday, at the late home, the Rev. Harvey C. Snyder officiating. Interment  in St. John's Union cemetery, Nazareth.
