Raymond Curtis Martin was the oldest son of William "Will" Henry Martin and Dora Alice Hatch. He had six sisters an four brothers. They were Vivian Sabra Martin, Ethel May Martin, Mable Grace Martin, Emma Viola Martin, Harriett Martin, Ambrose Reuben Martin, Mary Alice Martin, Clair Hatch Martin, Bernard Loyal Martin, and Raiff Sylvester Martin.

Raymond married Laura Louisa Ebersol, daughter of Arthur Andrew Ebersole and Annie Belle Riley on Aug 20, 1905 in Bone Mesa, Delta County, Colorado. To them were born 5 children.
