Mrs. Margaret L. McGowan of 450 Middleboro Avenue, East Taunton, widow of William F. McGowan, died Thursday afternoon at Morton Hospital after a short illness. She was 69. Born in Taunton, daughter of the late Joseph H. and Mary A. (Galligan) Gorman, she had lived in this city all her life, and was educated in St. Mary's schools. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church, a member of its Women's Guild, and a member of the Friendly Senior Citizens. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Norman L. (Mary C.) Lehoullier and Mrs. Roland A. (Eileen L.) Dubois, both of this city; two brothers, William of Framingham and Joseph H. of Newton Center; and seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
