Mary Elizabeth Dunn Henderson
Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Dunn Henderson, age 84, Sumner, GA, formerly of Lindale, passed away Tuesday morning, July 3, 2012.
Mrs. Henderson was born in Haralson County, Georgia on July 25, 1927, daughter of the late Henry Grady Dunn and the late Mary Florence Murrah Dunn. She was retired from Kmart after 25 years of service and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Rufus Henderson, and by 2 sons, David Michael Henderson, Sr. and Jerry Lamar Henderson.
Survivors include a son, Walter Lee Henderson, and his wife, Jerri, Sumner, GA; 3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Henderson, Rome; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside and interment services will be held on Friday, July 6, 2012, at 12 noon at the Lindale Cemetery. The Rev. Harvey Dunn will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home on Friday morning from 10am until time to depart for the cemetery. At other hours, they may be contacted at each of their respective residences.
